Preschool Sports day is around the corner. Our 3 to 6 year olds have been giving their best, letting go and handling their fears while also cheering for others.
One such day while practicing for a race, M fell, hurt his knee and started crying.
We immediately found the 4 year olds going and sitting around him, trying to encourage him.
V, who wanted to share his experience as a form of support, said "If you tell your mind, your mind will be stronger and pain will all go away."
Listening intently, M immediately stood up, walked to the start line, and announced that he was ready for the next race.
D who was watching this said, "Ma'am, M is a champion!"

It was encouraging to see children doing this to each other in real life when faced with challenges. When learning is deeply rooted with experiences, it becomes a part of who they are further shaping them for themselves and others around.
