Linkany  develops the following skills in children:

Tips to a great game of Linkany:

1. Every connection needs a rationale. When children make one, question but do not criticize their rationale 
   
2. Encourage them to make connections which are beyond their comfort zone (Can we classify connections like you have – similar objects, objects used together in day-to-day life, and an example of well woven 4 connection story)
   
3. Every pair needs a connection and should not be connected to another adjacent card, else it becomes a story telling session
   
4. Connections are not to be memorized – this will defeat the purpose of the game. Try new combinations every time and different connections even for the same pair every time you play!
5. Play variants of the game where you force players to NOT make a direct connection. E.g. same color, same shape etc. are disallowed - table and chair are made of wood is is interesting, we use it to work in office and home is good too!
