What is collapsing that affects education? How do we build a future resilient system? What changes should we bring? These were the conversations happening at the Future of Education Summit held at the Bangalore International Centre on March 23rd.
Our esteemed panelists, Sailee Rane, Rahul Singh, Ramakrishna NK, and Tony Sam George, shared their thoughts on the metacrisis that our world faces right now and how a child needs to be raised in times of this crisis.
As a student at Sparkling Mindz, I couldn’t help but nod in agreement as the panelists emphasized the importance of building belongingness, offering mentorship, and fostering a sense of community in education. These are not just abstract concepts but principles we live by every day at our school.
It’s becoming increasingly clear that schools have a crucial role to play in this crisis by building resilience in children and seeing them as capable, confident changemakers. This is the experience I have every day at Sparkling Mindz, and I am incredibly grateful to be part of a school that views me not as just another student in the rat race but as a unique individual with the potential to make a difference.
As we move forward, it’s essential to reimagine education, which enables the holistic growth of a child. That is what Sparkling Mindz is doing right now: building inspired, confident learners and change makers.
Each child out there deserves to be in such a space which sees them not as numbers, ranks or names but as whole humans.
We are on a unique journey, walking a road less traveled in education. We invite like-minded parents and individuals to join our community and shape the future of learning.
