A chance conversation with one of the children got us thinking about why should learning be boring? Children, or for that matter anyone, will learn well only when they are enjoying the process. Take the fun out of it and there is no learning anymore - only preaching to switched off ears and minds!!!
In our years of working with children, we have seen most of them struggle at some point or the other with basic concepts in language and math and we thought why not make those fun? From that thought and the chance conversation emerged the idea of Future Mindz Program or the Learning Corner Program. The agenda of the program is to make learning fun. It empowers your child to create and use effective tools to enhance their learning experience and potential. The program is for 5-16 year olds and will be conducted on weekday evenings or on weekends, 2 hours/week. We use Multiple Intelligences and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) as our base framework to design and deliver the programs. Each child is provided tools that are appropriate to developing their Intelligence type and based on their unique learning style. Each month different concepts and skills in English (like spellings, vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, reading interest and writing styles) and Math (number sense, word problems, multiplication tables) will be covered through various kinds of creative and innovative activities.
